Zee Cine AwardsBollywood film industry assemble in the island country to participate and celebrate the annual Zee Cine Awards to be held in the Sands Grand Ballroom of the Marina Bay Sands resort of Singapore. According to reports in the media, the awards event is scheduled to take place on the 14th next month.

    So far, Zee Cine Awards has travelled to Dubai (2004), London (2005), Mauritius (2006) and London (2008).

    Marina Bay Sands President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thomas Arasi said, “Being Chosen to host the Zee Cine Awards is such an honor. The Indian market is extremely important us and the Zee Cine Awards is a great platform because it is regarded as one of the most credible award shows in the Indian film industry. We look forward to delivering true Bollywood culture, talent and entertainment to our guests.”

    The event will include a variety of performances from India’s best choreographed dances to hit songs from the nominated movies of the year with a vibrant kaleidoscope of colour, expression, humor and music.

    Bollywood stars including superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan are expected to attend the awards function.

    The event is expected to attract over 500 million viewers globally, they added.
