Nikhil makes a comeback – Nikhil Roy, who has acted in serials like Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi and Bhaskar Bharti, was on a break from acting since the last two years. The actor has now made a comeback with Sony’s Surya-The Supercop. Nikhil believes that even though Surya-The Supercop is similar to CID, it is a sleeker version of the show. The actor also reveals that he plans to change his look and pursue his career seriously and with complete dedication now.

‘Surya: The Super Cop’, produced by ‘CID’ producer BP Singh’s Fireworks Productions is a crime series about a blind cop. Then, there’s another seemingly corrupt yet colourful cop who disrupts investigations because he was once denied a promotion. He destroys documents and crucial evidence at times. There’s also an element of romance between two junior cops.

Harsh Chhaya plays the male lead of ‘Supercop Surya’. Mohit Malik, Kuldeep Malik, Priyanka Bassi and Kunal Verma also play pivotal roles in the show.

‘Surya: The Super Cop’ launches on Monday 4th April ( Mon to Thu) at 9:00pm and will fill a 60-minute slot, on Sony TV.
