Sahara One Television is all set to bring India and Pakistan together as they launch a new singing reality show Sur-Kshetra. The show will provide a platform for upcoming singers from India and Pakistan to showcase their talents.

Asha Bhosle to judge Sur-kshetra – Singing legend Asha Bhosle will be one of the judges on Sahara One’s “Sur-kshetra”, a new reality show that will feture singers from India and Pakistan.
“Sur-Kshetra is Sahara One’s mega reality music show. Sahara One is growing consistently and is on track to reach the top five with plans drawn ahead to scale even greater heights. And to begin with what better than a show like Sur-Kshetra, with the best of singing talents from two arch-rival nations, India & Pakistan, competing against each other”.
Singers-turned-actors Himesh Reshammiya and Atif Aslam will captain the India and Pakistan teams of singers
respectively. They are also going to judge the show. Sur-Kshetra kick-starts from India with 6 city auditions and from Pakistan with 3 city auditions from December 24, 2011.
“Sur Kshetra: Where Music Wins” is introduced by Gajendra Singh. The Show will go on air in the beginning of 2012.
