ShamitaShamita Shetty voluntarily opted to quit the reality show Bigg Boss 3 on Saturday. Shamita walked out of reality show “Bigg Boss 3? to be with her elder sister Shilpa who is tying the knot with millionaire beau Raj Kundra on November 22.

When Shamita was questioned about her exit and Shilpa’s marriage she said “I am just so excited about Shilpa’s wedding. Family comes first for me, so I couldn’t help but come out of the show to be with her.”

Shamita who was in Bigg Boss house with other celebrities had no connection with the outside world since Oct 10 and was unaware of Shilpa’s engagement with London-based businessman Raj Kundra. It was until model Pravesh Rana who came in and informed her about it. The engagement was facilitated on October 24 in Shamita’s absence and without her knowledge.

At that time, Shilpa had said: “I miss my sister and am hoping that she’ll be out soon in my last few days at home.” Now, Shilpa’s younger sibling Shamita is all set to be a part of the grand celebrations of her marriage on 22nd November in Khandala.
