Sanaya Irani a.k.a Gunjan of ‘Mile Jab Hum Tum’ was going through a very difficult phase as her voice had been affected due to a throat infection. Consequently, she was having problems shooting for her scenes.
The entire unit has started pulling leg whenever she attempts to deliver her dialogues. This has prompted her to take the vow of silence until she gets her normal voice back again.
Sanya spoke to us in a hoarse voice. She said, “I am suffering from cold and cough and my throat has been choked since the last 3 days. Naturally, I am experiencing problems during my shoots. I am now doing the scenes where I have to keep quiet and look emotional without having to speak a word. This is because I seem to have a weird sound coming out of me whenever I try to speak. I have now decided to keep my mouth shut until I get my voice back. Otherwise it sounds funny”
“Two days ago I was shooting a scene with Arjun Bijlani (Mayank). I just had to be silent and express my feelings through gestures. It was really very difficult as I could not speak at all. Arjun, just laughed out loud as I was whispering the words without trying to speak up. It was a funny experience but frustrating too as I was not able to say anything.” signs off the actor.
And now, after three days, she is feeling quite well and is finally able to speak in a hoarse voice. She says, “Every one made fun of me and now I am just waiting to get well soon.”
We wish you a speedy recovery!
