Vishal denies getting Shalini replaced – Vishal Karwal of Rishton Se Badi Pratha on Colors is disturbed by allegations of him being responsible for co-star Shalini Chandran’s ouster from the show.
This is a story that revolves around 2 innocent souls (Abhay & Surbhi) passionately in love, where their love becomes the eye of the storm with the brute power dynamics, corrupt and of customs that have gone wrong, of notions perceived and interpreted to suit the ego of the male dominated society- where a woman has no right to choose a companion for herself. And if she dares to that, its not just the girl who faces the wrath of the society and her own family, but even the guy is killed in the name of the so called HONOUR.
‘Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai’ has been under the scanner for several weeks after dismal ratings recently. The teaser promos for ‘Rishton Se Badi Pratha’ have been airing on the channel for the past couple of months and was awaiting for a launch date. This also puts to rumours of ‘Bhagyavidhata’ ending, to rest.
‘Bhagyavidhata’, which airs at 19:00 on Colors also has a question mark hanging over its future. The channel is now giving the show a final push with a generation leap on the show by 20 years. The leap takes place on Monday 8th November.
‘Matti Ki Banno’ – another new show in queue to launch is expected to hit the airwaves from early-December. This could replace ‘Bhagyavidhata’, depending on how succesful the leap track connects with viewers.
