Sourabhee is the Indian Idol Season 4 Winner. This is the first time a girl is an Indian Idol. Kapil Thapa got the deserving second spot and Torsha Sarkar got the third spot. Sourabhee  got Rs 1 crore worth contract from Sony BMG, the Indian Idol 4 title & trophy and a Tata Winger Car. Sonali Bendre, who was very excited about a girl winning the Indian Idol title gifted Sourabhee with her favorite watch – Omega Watch!

The highlight of the Grand finale was a all-in-white performance of all Indian Idol 4 Contestants, Current judges – Javed Akhtar, Sonali Bendre, Kailash Kher and Annu Malik, Past judges in form of Udit Narayan and Alisha Chinoy and Indian Idol Season 1,2,3 winners – Abhijeet Sawant, Sandeep Acharya and Prashant Tamang. Also there were past contestants from other Indian Idol Seasons as well.

Special Guests for the evening – Katrina Kaif walked with Kapil Thapa, Sourabhee with John Abraham and Torsha walked with Neil Nitin Mukesh. Incidently Katrina, John and Neil stars in the forthcoming Bollywood movie – New York!
