Indian Idol 4 – 1st Gala Round Results again showed that if results are left to the public you will see the eliminations not by bad performance necessarily but also by the regional support and votes. The bottom six saw singers like Tullika Ganguly, Bhavya Pandit, Mohit Lalwani, Shini Kalvint, Ananya Mishra and Kuldeep Singh, all except Kuldeep performed exceptionally well. On the contrary poor performers like Remo Ghosh, Kapil Thapa, Sourabhee were in the safe zone. Ultimately Ananya Mishra was eliminated despite giving one of her best performance.

Bhavya Pandit created some kind of scene as she showed her frustration on being at the bottom six again. She went ahead and said that good singers are in the danger zone while not so good singers are safe. However, she was safe at the end.

Judges Reaction: Javed Akhtar again expressed his shock saying Ananya is a good performance and singing and Indian Idol 4 has lost a good contestant. Sonali Bendre said she is at loss losing Ananya on Indian Idol. Annu Malik echoed Bhavya Pandit’s voice saying that good singers eliminations have started, others are at danger.

Ananya Mishra classically trained singer and dancer was one of the strong contender for the Indian Idol 4 as she was a complete package.

Well, that’s the format of the show and Indian Idol 4 will continue with the remaining thirteen contestants.
