Jagdeep to enter Phulwa – Veteran comedian actor Jagdeep, Jaaved Jafri and Naved Jaffrey’s father, who has and has acted in at least hundred plus films with the most memorable one -Soorma Bhopali in Sholay, is all set for debut in Siddarth Tewary’ Phulwa. He was last seen in film Life Partner in 2009. Jagdeep will play Bhudiya, father of Angad Hasija’s character Shankar. Bhudiya will be partially blind, a positive role with a humurous element. Producer Siddarth Tewary to decided to cast Jagdeep as he couldn’t think of anyone else. His entry will be sometime next week.

Phulwa debuts with YRF film – Jannat aka Phulwa will now be seen in Yash Raj Films’ Love Ka The End.Jannat had shot for the movie before she started shooting for Phulwa but the movie will release on May 6. Shraddha Kapoor and Taaha Shah play the leads on the show. Jannat plays Shraddha’s little sister who keeps blackmailing her all the time. Since Shraddha plays a teenager who goes out for late night parties and chats on the phone late into the night Jannat makes the most of it.

Nupur steps in as Phulwa’s mother – Nupur Alankar will be replacing actress Reena Rani who plays Phulwa’s mother Imarti in Colors’ show Phulwa. The production house has brought in actress Nupur Alankar to replace the Bhojpuri actress Reena. The production house replaced her because of her tantrums as she used to walk out of the sets without informing the production team and acquiring her dates was becoming a problem too.

Phulwa is a one take wonder – Versatile and talented nine-year-old Jannat Zubair is enjoying essaying the role of Phulwa in Siddharth Tewary’s Phulwa on Colors. She is called one take artist on the sets as each time she gives a perfect shot in one go. She has worked hard on her diction so the rural language too isn’t a problem for the little one. Her senior co actors and everyone on the sets is stunned with her perfection, her talent and spontaneity
