pankitUTV and Imagine TV’s ‘Rakth Sambandh’ has been waiting in the wings far too long. Things have progressed very slowly indeed! Chopping and changing the cast hasn’t helped their cause either.

One actor who will not be a part of the show is Pankit Thakker, a.k.a Dr. Atul Joshi of ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ fame. The actor was supposed to be paired opposite one of the five sisters in the show. It’s not clear what went wrong, but Thakker is no longer a part of the show.

Confirming the news, Thakker says, “Yes, I’m no longer a part of ‘Rakth Sambandh’. I had signed up for the show but didn’t shoot for it. Although I liked the script, there were certain creative differences between us which made me leave the show. Besides, the show has also been delayed for quite sometime now, and I couldn’t wait any longer.”

When asked whether, he’s taken up any new show, Thakker replied “No, I haven’t as yet. I’m prepared to wait for the right role.”
