From the very beginning, it has been a very healthy & tough competition between MTV & Channel [V]. Channel [V] started the “[V] Popstars” and soon after that “Roadies” came On MTV.

MTV Season 1:
Started on: August 15th 2003
Contestants:

Winner: No official winner was declared as no one could complete the task. But Ranvijay got the fame and turned out to be the most happening next VJ on MTV and hosted all the next roadies & also the recent Splitsvilla.

MTV Season 2:
Started on: August 21st 2004
Contestants:

Winner: Ayushmann Khurrana.

MTV Season 3:
Started on: November 11th 2005
Contestants:

Winner: Parul Shahi. The first girl to win on Roadie. Truly daring. After roadie, we didn’t see much of Parul anywhere.

MTV Season 4:
Started on: 11 November 2006 at 7 pm.
Contestants:

Winner: Anthony Yeh. It was a surprise for most of them that he actually survived until the final round. We didn’t see Antony just like Parul after Rodies.

MTV Roadies Season 5:
Started on: 22nd March 2007
Contestants:

Winner: Aashutosh aka aashu. He won the game without any pain and struggle. He said no to eat non-veg, had an accident with Sonel but played nice mind games and politics to survive till the end.

Life after Roadies

Roadie Rannvijay Singh - Season 1
One of the winners of Roadies season 1, this Delhi ka bandha is the host of MTV Hero Honda Roadies, Vodafone MTV Splitsvilla, among other shows. He just shot for his Bollywood debut film – TOSS and signed up for Vipul Shah’s next – London Dreams, starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan.

Roadie Shambhvi - Season 5
This petite Roadie is now on her way to stardom. She is already shooting for Suneil Shetty’s next film under Popcorn Entertainment – The Little Godfather. This white beauty has been recently roped in a South Indian flick, now that’s a contrast we’re waiting to see.

Roadie Bani - Season 4
Roadies 4 finalist and now an MTV VJ, Bani is the host of Pepsi & MTV Wassup and MTV On the Job. She made her Bollywood debut with Himmesh in Aap ka Surroor. Bani’s appalling tattoos and bold attitude got her campaigning for Reebok.

Roadie Ayushman - Season 2
Now an MTV VJ, he is hearing what the youngistans have to say on Pepsi and MTV Wassup. He could not get fame as soon as he won the roadies. But much later an year back, MTV considered him for another happening program “Wassup Youngistan”.

Roadie Shubhi - Season 3

This Roadie scored a goal in Chak de India with her Bollywood debut as Gunjan with King Khan as her coach.

Roadies Varun and Vishal - Season 5

They had girls fighting for their attention in MTV’s bold romance reality show – Vodafone MTV Splitsvilla.

Roadie Anmol - Season 5

Her attitude in Roadies 5.0 got her a role in Ekta Kapoor’s serial Kuchh Is Tara.

Roadie Aashu - Season 5

This village boy has ruled the hearts of many with his attitude. Winner of Roadies 5.0, he is now one of the 14 participants of Bigg Boss Season 2.
