Kaala SaayaSahara One is all set to spruce up its content, following a new programming strategy. Telly Chakkar had already reported about the channel extending its prime time slot to 7.30 pm, with a new comedy show, Hi Padosi… Kaun Hai Doshi? Another new show by Creative Eye, that is, Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi… Niyati, is waiting to be launched too.

Now we hear, that a new show named Kaala Saaya, will take off soon. It is the first daily-horror series produced by Sunil Agnihotri.

A source says, “Kaala Saaya will have an 11 pm slot and will be a daily show. The show is a re-vamped version of a show named Black which aired on 9X and was also made by Sunil.”

Black was a show based on paranormal activities, more about mystery and not just horror. It is the journey of special investigation officers into the unknown dark world that exists around us. But the show wrapped up on 9X as the channel wound up.

Adds another source, “Black is being re-packaged as Kaala Saaya. The initial story line will be same as Black, which will then have all new episodes, with a fresh look and a fresh cast. The shoot for which will begin from this month-end.”

Says Sunil, “Yes, the show is Kaala Saaya now, but we are still working on the cast, and we will start the shoot probably from 3oth of this month.”
