3-idiotsAfter successful world premiere of Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Khani (APKGK) & Blue on Indian Television, Is Colors entertainment channel eying on 3 Idiots?

There is a buzz that a TV channel has approached 3 Idiots producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra with a satellite offer of 25 crores.To this Mr Chopra believed to have replied by saying “ha ha ha”.

Chopra’s spokesperson, however, did not reveal who have contacted them. They said that since the crew & cast are out for promotion nothing yet can be said on satellite rights.

With the current trend of latest Bollywood movies on Indian TV its assumed with colors might have put that offer. APKGK was premiered within 35 days of its theatrical release, while Blue was aired within 45 days of its release. Both the movies were said to have been sold for Rs 4.5 crores each for one-time screening only.

Will the other channels follow the same trend & bring latest Bollywood movie for the home viewers?
