cast_of_ghar_ki_baat_haiWith ‘Ghar Ki Baat Hai‘, Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment will step into the Idiot Box and will present the viewers with a light-hearted comedy show based on common man’s life. The show seems to have been inspired by super-hit Television Show on Doordarshan “Yeh Jo Hain Zindagi“, which dealt with similar issue in a Comic Way. Nevertheless, if the show is half as good as “Yeh Jo..“, then SRK can hit the jackpot with this venture.

Directed by Anant Mahadevan, and Bhavana Sresht being the creative director, the show will star cast Sumeet Raghavan, Swapnil Joshi, Ali Asgar, Jayati Bhatia and Deven Munjal.  Sumeet and Juhi plays the role of a couple and Swapnil Joshi plays Sumeet’s brother-in-law in the show. Ali Asgar will play the role of the watchman, yet an integral part of the show. The show will have guest appearance of Juhi Chawla and Shreyas Talpade, who are said to be SRK’s closest friends.
