While Imagine is preparing for Swayamvar 3- Ratan Ka Rishta, buzz is that soon the second season of Desi Girl (Desi Girl 2) will be aired on the channel.

Imagine is becoming synonymous with reality shows as they have had one too many. Desi Girl had a hit season one with Roshni Chopra emerging the winner in the show wherein city girls live in a small village, perform daily tasks and try to win the hearts of the villagers.

The show is about city girls living in a small village where they have to do different tasks. The first season of the show had eight girls from Mumbai who went to a small village called Sialba Majri in Punjab.

The first season ran for seven weeks as it went on air in May last year but it has been delayed a little this year. A source says, “Yes, the channel is ready for the second season of the show and we have started looking out for places. The search for a new village for the girls has begun.

The girls to participate on the show are yet to be finalised and most probably it should go on-air in June.” Apparently the channel is searching for a new village and celebs to participate in the show too.
