After churning hits like ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ and ‘Punar Vivah’, producers Shashi-Sumeet Mittal are all set to launch a unique love story for Sony TV to be called “Beauty and the Beast”.

The show is a unique love story.Adapted from the story of Beauty and the Beast, this love story is about a young guy who is an immensely popular Radio Jockey who has a murky side to his life as he is not good looking.The story reaches an interesting point when he falls in love with an extremely beautiful girl.

Shraddha Arya, who was last seen in Like OK’s Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, will now be seen playing the female lead role in the show.

Apart from her Daisy Bopanna of “Garam Masala” fame actress playing the female lead character.

This show is to be launched in January 2013 on Sony TV.
