Inspired from the title Band Baaja Baarat, NDTV Good Times introduces a brand new show called Band Baaja Bride. the show is dedicated to making every bride’s dream come true.
In Band Baaaja Bride – The Makeover Show, every Indian bride gets a chance to look like a model, a chance to select her dream outfit, have the best make up and hairstylists in the industry turning her into a goddess.
“Every girl dreams of being a princess, of looking her prettiest and brightest on her wedding day and our show ensures that every ordinary girl feels extraordinary. We make every bride feel like she is part of a big Bollywood production, because everything, from the clothes, to the décor to her knight in shining armor- is picture perfect. Also the focus is on her totally. Everything on that day and leading to the wedding day is about what the bride and her family wants,” explains producer Aarti Singh.
Watch every bride’s fairytale come true as Band Baaja Bride transforms the girl next door into a complete diva for her D Day. Hosted by Ambika Anand, Band Baaja Bride starts 14th February and will air every Monday and Tuesday at 9pm.

Want your special advice as of now, m a i’ll fat and want to be in shape, tried a balance diet or arobics, but not able to cope up with any of it, coz of my workg schedule. Plz suggest some thing that can help me solve my problem.

Why do I deserve a Sabyasachi saree……….
Two decades back even I was a teenager , tomboyish , having spent all my growing years amidst boys.So, when it came to my passing out ceremony from school, and had to wear a saree,(a borrowed one at that as mom had generously handed out her good ones to her younger sisters)I landed in school looking ,feeling and floundering like a swan in sea, not knowing how to carry it off! I vowed never to be caught in one……..
Years later when I joined a school as a teacher, I had to wear a saree at the drop of a hat –I even managed to wear one for our sports day, teamed with a sneaker. After many trials and tribulations , gentle admonishing from the helpers at school, I finally learnt to carry the most elegant dress with the least effort…I earnestly decided to indulge myself ……Today, I can boast of a good collection of cotton sarees and a few silk sarees but alas, my wardrobe is devoid of any designer saree.
I always admired Vidya Balan’s taste in sarees , not realizing she was donning Sabyasachi creations!! I have always had an eye for simple but elegant sarees , but they would usually be highly priced and way out of my reach…..What I like about Sabyasachi’s creations is the bold colours ,off- set by rich, dramatic borders; a combination that makes a woman feel no less than a princess, a sensation I would like to cherish too!! This saree would be the reigning queen of my wardrobe, a possession that I can flaunt and in years to come I can pass on to my daughter….
Also, its my twentieth wedding anniversary on the 12th of this month!!!!
