Balika Vadhu is awaiting to take another twist in the tale. Balika Vadhu, a popular daily soap on Colors Entertainment Channel deals with some social issues including Child Marriage. And with death of Pratap, one of the lead character of the show his teenage wife is blamed for casting evil shadow that lead to his death!

Balika Vadhu’s story revolved around Anandi, the main protagonist of the show and her family. Sugna, sister-in-law of Anandi is a teenage girl, who was married to Pratap while she was very young and the family decided to have the formal marriage and send Sugna to her in laws home. However, the luck went dry for Sugna and Pratap when Pratap was attacked by Robbers and killed in the process.

But Sugna’s in laws have started blaming Sugna’s bad stars for the death of their son Pratap. And Sugna continues to live a dreadful live of a Widow with no contacts with outside world and no worldly pleasure . A small mistake by their family has CASTED EVIL on her character throughout her LIFE. Why Sugna is to be blamed? Why should she continue to live a life of an outcasted?

With things going sour between Sugna’s in laws and her parent’s family, Balika Vadhu will be looking forward to a TWIST in coming days!

Balika Vadhu has done wonderful job of highlighting one more Social Issue through their daily Soap. Young brides are often blamed for the death of their husband and they are made to suffer throughout the live. This Social Issue is still prevalent in many parts of India (especially rural areas) and should be abolished!
