Balika Vadhu is gearing up for another twist in the tale. One of the most popular daily soap on Indian Television, Balika Vadhu is working towards bringing some joy in Sugna’s life. Sugna, the young widow of the serial has been living in isolation ever since the death of Pratap, her husband.

Shyam, a new character, is being introduced in the Sikri Family, is a curious young man who seems to have been charmed by Sugna’s beauty. Though Shyam belongs to the same village and community, he seems to be oblivious to the custom and traditions practised in the village.

Shyam begins his stay at the Sikri’s house by playing a prank on Sugna, which obviously does not please many. However, he slowly develops soft corner for Sugna. And his only purpose in life now to keep and see Sugna Happy.

But the big question is will Sugna reciprocate same feelings back for Shyam? Will she be able to replace Pratap’s place in her heart with that of Shyam? This is where the soap will take all its twists and turn and only time will reveal what’s in-store for Sugna!
