Amrit Manthan is the unusual story of two sisters, Amrit and Nimrit, whose bond sours in wake of circumstances. Amrit, the elder sister, is brought up as the Royal Heir to a royalty whose glory days are well past them. She is a mirror personality of her grandmother, the Rajmata. She believes marriage is the only opportunity to salvage their lost honour. Nimrit, on the other hand, is just the opposite.
