While all good news was pouring in from other team members of the Indian Olympic team, here is a bad one from Tennis. Sania Mirza pulled off from the Women’s Tennis Competition due to Injury. She was competing with Iveta Benesova of the Czech Republic and was trailing 1-6 and 1-2 in the second set, before she retired from the match. Well we had little expectation as the draw was very tough, but her exit this way wasn’t expected. Abhinav Bindra made India proud and he said it’s about negativism, which is cursing Indian Games. Well Abhinav, we wished Sania should have put a brave fight before exiting from the competition. Probably her attitude during the opening ceremony, where she was dressed causally spoke it all.
Anyways, Saina Nehwal, we still hope the best for you.
Vishu that was my opinion, which is fair. Did you notice how she dressed up on the opening ceremony. The body language says all. So let me express my views and you can express yours. If Olympics was just about hard work, we would have won Golds in many category. Its the day when you perform. But my anger started on Day # 1 and then the way she walked out. So I still stand on my comment that it was a disgraceful act!
Yes its not good on just sitting there and blaming. I also blame the content writer who probably presented in bad way. Sania, we hope you recover soon.
How was this disgraceful? Sania was heartbroken and instead of feeling bad for her you choose to criticize? Try to appreciate how hard these athletes work in the face of unwarranted criticisms from idiots like you.
Sania that was a disgraceful act!
