Cricket fever has taken its toll on the television shows on Indian Television.  Even the on-going shows have seen fall in their TRPs during the IPL telecast time.

TV actor Ram Kapoor, who has been hosting wedding reality show ‘Swayamvar’ on Imagine TV since last two seasons, won’t be seen in the third season because of date issues.

Popular TV actress Ratan Rajput has received 54,863 wedding proposals from suitors including doctors, lawyers, engineers, professors, businessmen, chefs and bankers, for her upcoming televised swayamvar “Ratan Ka Rishta” and this is said to be highest so far for the show. The maximum offers have come from Meerut and Lucknow.

While Imagine is preparing for Swayamvar 3- Ratan Ka Rishta, buzz is that soon the second season of Desi Girl (Desi Girl 2) will be aired on the channel.
