The award season has set in, and looks like our Kaminey boy Shahid & Ghajini girl Asin have taken upon themselves to bag how much ever awards they can. The Giants International Award was held on September 17th in Mumbai, to commemorate with Giants Founders’ Day.
Actors Shahid Kapoor & Asin were seen at the event. Shahid was honoured for his eminence in Hindi cinema. Noted journalist & playwrighter Rajdeep Sardesai, organizer of the Soorya stage and film society Soorya Krishnamoorthy are said to be other winners of the award.

Sources also mentioned Asin’s name in the list, but we are not sure as to which category she has won. Giants International is an Indian-based international service organization executing programmes in the areas of family planning, low-cost housing, consumerism and other public spirited activities. Amitabh Bachchan, M F Hussain, Mother Teresa, Dilip Kumar, Pritish Nandy, Ratan Tata and Sunil Gavaskar are some of the personalities who have previously won this award.
