IIFA Awards 2011Having travelled to locations like Great Britain, China, Europe, Middle East, Thailand and Sri Lanka in the past, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) will make its North American debut in Ontario, Canada this year. The announcement was made at a Press Conference in Toronto attended by Honorable Premier of Ontario, Dalton McGuinty and Indian film stars Anil Kapoor and Preity Zinta.

    Last year’s IIFA festivities were staged in Colombo, Sri Lanka. T he awards attempt to build the market for Bollywood films by changing locations each year.

    The Toronto ceremony is already sold out and Bollywood-themed events will be staged ahead of the awards.

    The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards is going to held in Toronto, Canada, from 16th June to 19th June, 2011.
