sahara7Indian express Sahara sports awards 2009 was a star studded event. Most of Bollywood’s who’s who, page 3 socialites and top sports men were present at the awards. Hot Bollywood actresses like Deepika Padukone, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, Riya Sen, Koena Mitra, Sophie Chaudhry and others were spotted at the event. Deepika, Neha and Koena gave sizzling dance performances on the stage.

After the recent heartbreaking relationship with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika was seen getting close to her ex- beau (rumored) Dhoni. Looks like disheartened Deepika found a shoulder to cry upon. Will Deepika again be inclined towards Dhoni? Just the time will answer.

Sahara sports awards 2009 is organized by Sahara India group, in collaboration with the Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI).Sahara Indian Sports Award came into existence to felicitate outstanding sportspersons in various disciplines. This award will also recognize the contribution of the unsung sports coaches, officials and administrators. Cricket legend and chairman of the selectors jury is Sunil Gavaskar.
