star-screen-awardsStar Screen announced its 16th Annual Awards nominations and the top five films of the year featured in most of the nominations. “3 Idiots” is an obvious favorite in all categories of nomination.

However, there are some marked absence of some of the names, which might sound quite strange. Abhay Deol as Dev D is not nominated as the best actor category, nor is the name of the music director, who gave unconventional music took everyone by a pleasant surprise. Instead we have some other unpleasant surprises – Pritam is nominated for three films and Katrina has been nominated for Ajab Prem ki.. Strange, but that’s how popular awards are! No wonder why Aamir is out of all these!
