Amrita Arora made it into public that she would be marrying her 6 months old boyfriend Shakeel Ladhak on March 4th in Goa. On March 5. There’s a sangeet hosted by Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Agnihotri and director Farah Khan is choreographing a musical skit for the bride. On March 6, there will be a nikaah ceremony in the afternoon, and a grand reception in the evening both at Taj Lands End Hotel in Bandra. Sourabhee is the Indian Idol Season 4 Winner. This is the first time a girl is an Indian Idol. Kapil Thapa got the deserving second spot and Torsha Sarkar got the third spot. Sourabhee  got Rs 1 crore worth contract from Sony BMG, the Indian Idol 4 title & trophy and a Tata Winger Car. Sonali Bendre, who was very excited about a girl winning the Indian Idol title gifted Sourabhee with her favorite watch – Omega Watch!

The Filmfare Awards this year will see a younger and fresher set of actors hosting the event. For years Shah Rukh had almost monopolized the hosting with Saif Ali Khan. The two though were witty and never shied away from lampooning the film fraternity to entertain their audience.
