Aamir Khan, the Bollywood actor with one film-a-year has always special to offer. No wonder the movie and the music is much awaited. And this time Aamir embracing the latest technology, released the music live video conference on the movie’s official portal. And that’s why we say Aamir Khan always have unexpected to offer!
The music by Shantanu Moitra-Swanand Kirkire has an unconventional touch, which beautifully blends with the theme of the story.
The theme song Aal Izz Well should be a campus anthem in no time. Enthusiastically sung by Sonu Niigaam and brilliantly picturised. The composition has the right punch to work on the big screen.
Zoobi Doobi (watch video) song already is gathering momentum as the song has a very special touch. The song is picturized on Bebo-Aamir will remind viewers of the magic left by the legend Raj Kapoor-Nargis, specially the song Pyar Hua… from Shree 420.
Lead Singers Sonu Niigam and Shreya Ghoshal are best as usual. Jaane Nahi Denge by Sonu is quite intense. Shaan’s Behti Hawa is one of his best work as the song is about missing a lost friend and quite situational as well emotional.
The other songs are yet to pick up, however, requires patient listening. Probably when videos of those songs are released or when people see the movie, they can relate the scenes and enjoy the songs much more.
From the promos one gets the feeling of a frothy, youthful mad comedy. But there is obviously more to the film than just jokes. Except for Aal Izz Well and Zoobi Doobi to some extent, the other songs are extremely situational – pretty intensely arranged and worded.
Overall, the songs will take its time to pick up and will soon be remembered for quality work. A big thumbs up to the music director team for working so hard on the songs!
