“Rowdy Rathore” is an upcoming Bollywood action film directed by Prabhu Deva, and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala. The film features Akshay Kumar in a double-role, opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Rowdy Rathore is the remake of 2006 Telugu film Vikramarkudu.

Synopsis
Akshay Kumar plays the role of a mastermind thief and a small-time crook, who is mistaken by a young girl as her father. He then notices that her father is his lookalike, IPS Officer Rathore who has recently been murdered. Rowdy Rathore focuses on how the main lead gets revenge on the killers of his lookalike.
