Jim Carrey is back in business with something what he does best but with some additional exciting performances. Jim’s character Russell is a gay, who leads a simple life with his wife but everything changes in his life after a violent car crash. It is only then his true self, the gay side comes into action.
He leaves for Miami and finds partner in Rodrigo Santoro’s character but that is also short lived because he starts having a very expensive lifestyle and turns a gay conman for love. This new job of him takes him to prison and there he meets the love of his life, Phillip Morris. He finds his soul-mate in Phillip and could go to any extent to be with him.
Within this, you will watch some hilarious comic moments with romantic touch. You will never feel bored watching the gay Russell. Starting from a honest police officer, to organ player in a church and then a con-man, Jim does all these roles with ultimate perfection.
The feel of independence and being his own, reflects in his eyes, when Russell starts living at his own terms. Russell always finds out different ways to come out of prison and then breaks rules for earning and goes back to prison again. He creates fake identities, disguises to be someone else, fraudulently becomes the CFO of a major corporation and at the end finally reaches the prison.
‘I Love You Phillip Morris’ is a fun filled watch worthy movie that will take you to different emotional turmoil while keeping a smile on your face!
