South fame actress turned playback singer Mamta Mohandas, who married Prajith Padmanabhan on December 28th, 2011 has apparently decided to seek divorce from her husband.

The couple has applied for divorce stating they differ a lot as persons and have decided to continue their lives as individuals.

She also said that she will continue to focus on her career. She is currently busy with a number of films, and also has a music album lined up for release.
