After giving a birth to to her second child Multilingual actress Simran will be returning to the Kannada film industry after a long gap.

She accepted to play a prominent role in Upendra’s upcoming film titled ‘God Father’ film. Simran had acted as a heroine with Shivaraj Kumar in the Kannada film Simhada Mari.

God Father is a remake of K.S.Ravi Kumar`s Varalaaru starring Ajit and Asin. Kanniha had played the role in the original Tamil film which is being portrayed by Simran in the Kannada film.

Upendra will be seen in three different get ups in the three roles. God Father which is to be launched on April 25.
