Actress-singer-musician Shruti Hassan has been roped to play the female lead opposite Ravi Teja in her upcoming Telugu movie “Balupu”.

The movie will be directed by Gopichand Malineni and its produced by Prasad V Potluri.

In the movie Shruti will be playing comedy role and she also reveals that this is her firt comedy attempt.

If everything goes well the movie will go on floors very soon.
