Kannada movie Jothegara is finally going to release on September 10 after the inclusion of the hero Premkumar’s introductory song. The film has been delayed for more than a year due to a tiff between producer Ashwini Ramprasad and actor Premkumar.
The producer did not want to include the lead hero Premkumar into the song and the actor was also determined to be a part of the song. This angered the actor and he decided to keep away from the promotions of the movie. He denied being a part of any kind of activities related to the movie.
However, the situation improved when Ashwini Ramprasad’s brother Krishnaprasad took a step to bring the film to the screen. He met hat trick director Prem, who suggested inclusion of the introductory song in the movie. Krishnaprasad liked the idea immediately and requested Prem to direct the song as the original director was in Chennai. He then convinced Premkumar, who also agreed to be in the song.
The song ‘Sona Sona Kannale Kolthare Meena Abbabba’ with Premkumar was shot within in period of three days at Rockline Studio in Bangalore.
According to the sources, the song was shot with an investment of Rs 25 lakhs. The choreography has been done by Nagesh and Nandakumar has handled the camera for this song.
Ramya is the lead heroine opposite Prem Kumar in Jothegara, which is slated to be released on September 10.
