EndhiranThis may worry the fans of Rajnikant and Aishwarya as their much awaited state of the art, sci-fi film ‘Endhiran (The Robot)’ will see a delayed release. Rumours are abuzz that this trilingual film has been postponed to October 1st as against September 24th. However, a formal announcement on the same is expected to come soon.

Ever since the promos of ‘Endhiran’ were aired, it is basking in the spotlight of fame and popularity. Even the music score of this movie has created history and registered a record- breaking sale in the audio market. Film’s theatrical trailer was unveiled last week and it’s averred that this magnum opus will be Indian cinema’s biggest box office grosser.

A close source to the movie hinted that the final print of the movie is being made ready and it should not be rushed just for the heck of a September 24 release.

Shankar, who is the director of ‘Endhiran’, aspires to fill every nook of his film with perfection; the entire nation is willing to vouch for his dedication and determination, so one more weeks’ delay wont matter for a movie which seems to be larger than life. Grapevine has it that, ‘Endhiran’ has been in the making for the last couple of years. This project was shelved earlier as no producer was willing to shell out so much ( Rs. 200 crores) on one single film. But soon Sun Pictures stepped in to salvage this big budget extravaganza. When the finest people of the industry are working on this film, it has to get the best of everything, be it the number of screens or a grand worldwide release.

Audiences are eagerly anticipating the film’s release and are hoping that the movie proves to be worth the wait and the crores.
