Kantri Mogudu is a dubbed version of Kannada film Aishwarya. Incidently, Aishwarya was Deepika Padukone’s debut film in Kannada starring opposite actor Upendra.

In Kantri Mogudu, Deepika plays actor Upendra’s love interest.  It is said that with her sizzling act, Deepika transforms Upendra from a women hater to a passionate lover.
