It’s is confirmed that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will be playing the role of iconic classical singer MS Subbulakshmi in her upcoming movie which is rejected by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Earliear it was reported that Aishwarya was the first choice for the movie, but the the actress turned down the offer.

And finally that role went to Vidya’s kitty. The movie will be directed by cinematographer-turned-director Rajeev Menon.
