Shahid PriyankaAfter being delayed due to the swine flu scare, Shahid Kapoor – Priyanka Chopra starrer Kaminey finally released in Mumbai on Monday. But the lead actors have very little to worry about losses incurred over the weekend. Both Shahid and Priyanka have some brilliant plans to woo the audience to the theatres.

Priyanka Chopra has been promoting Kaminey on the web through a social networking site much before the release of the film. But after the delay she doubled her effort. She was personally involved in the Kaminey contest that was recently held on the social networking site. Priyanka is pleading hard to her fans to watch the film only in theaters.

Though Shahid is not active on social networking sites, he is doing his bit to get audience for his film. Apart from promoting Kaminey across the main cities in India, Shahid will be visiting theatres and multiplexes from Tuesday for the promotion. Speaking on the same Shahid said, “This film has been a labour of love for me and the whole team. We were quite sad when audiences in Mumbai and Pune couldn’t see the film along with the rest of the world. Now that the film is releasing in Mumbai I am going to do all that I can to support.
