Mogambo Khush Hua – the line which became THE Dialogue of late 1980s, might be heard again and who other than Badshah Khan might say that line. If all goes well, we will soon see Shahrukh Khan as Mogambo in Mr India 2. The sequel of 1987 superhit Mr. India will also see a come back by Sridevi, who will continue with the character of Seema. Anil Kapoor will play the lead role as he did in Mr. India.

However, Mogambo’s role was a challenge as the role portrayed by Amrish Puri is unparallel. This was amongst one of the movies where audience liked the role of the villian more than anyone else.  So Shekhar Kapur, who was in charge of Mr. India, is very keen to keep the same magic he created with Amrish Puri via Mogambo Role. Shahrukh is a very close friend of Shekhar and even though there are no confirm reports of acceptance, the inustry buzz says that Shahrukh Khan might take up the challenge. Further, it is also said that there will be more weight on the negative role, which might give all reasons to take one of the most strongest character on Indian Films.

And if Shahrukh accepts, this will be his come back in the bad boy roles, which incidently took Khan to new heights. With Baazigar, Darr - both superhit blockbusters, Shahrukh played the negative lead and became the undisputed Box Boffice King.

Its too early to confirm if Shahrukh will play the role of Mogambo but it will interestingly to see who will direct the movie. Shekhar is busy with Paani (though there are some disputes going with UTV and Shekhar on this movie). Shekhar is keen to get Anuraag Basu to direct Mr. India 2, but Anurag is busy with Hrithik-Barbara Starrer Kites. Hmmm, just need to wait and watch.

So how will Shahrukh say the main punch line of Mogambo –”heyyyyyy… Mogaambo khush hua..hmmmm”.
