srkShah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu – No this isn’t any comment on any one, Thank God, else another war of words would have been started. This is a title of a new film by Makrand. And yes the brand SRK has been very neatly used to build and promoto the film. However, that one liner is something most of the young beautiful Indian girl would like to hear and feel proud of? And thats what the movie is all about!

And this isn’t the first time the big star name is used for the movie title. Few years back it was Madhuri Dixit, whose name was used for the movie “Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon“, where Antra Mali plays the lead role and aspire to be like Madhuri.

So what is ‘Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu‘ all about? In words of Markand – “Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu is about a young girl who sells flowers on the road. One day, a car stops by next to her and she hears a voice that says you are beautiful. That voice comes from none other than superstar Shah Rukh Khan. What happens to her after that experience is what the film talks about.”

Markand has casted all theatre personality and the young flower-selling girl is played by Ritika. And ofcourse SRK makes a very special appearance in the movie.

Well the title itself will draw attention and hope the movie does not let us down like we had with ‘Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon’. Need to wait and watch, the movie will hit the theatres during first quarter of 2009.
