Saif Ali Khan, who was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital on Thursday evening after he complained of acute stomach pain, is said to be in stable condition. The actor is under observation and is being treated for abdominal pain, the hospital sources said. Saif is likely to remain in the hospital for a couple of days.

Saif Ali Khan, who was hospitalized in 2007 after experiencing a mild heart attack, has once again found himself in a health related trouble. Saif complained of a severe abdominal pain around Christmas evening, followed by constant vomiting.

Saif’s lady-love Kareena Kapoor rushed him to Lilavati Hospital at Bandra in Mumbai where the actor was immediately admitted for diagnosis. Based on sources close to the actor, Saif had organized a Christmas Eve party the prior night at his residence; the party went on till the wee hours of the morning, and apparently something did not go too well with the actor’s belly which explains the cause of the stomach ache.
