Its Sardarji Sardarji all over Bollywood. After Akshay Kumar in Singh is Kingg, Salman Khan in Heroes, Saif Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal and Ranbir Kapoor as Rocket Singh, its the Bollywood Babes who are trying to dress up as Sardar! Our own sweet Rani Mukherjee will be seen as Sardar in Yash Raj upcoming flick ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’.

The film, which is a romantic comedy, is set in Punjab. Rani is paired opposite to Shahid Kapoor for the first time. It is learnt that Rani dresses up like a Sardar boy to get a berth in a CRICKET TEAM. Incidentally Shahid Kapoor is the captain of the team and she falls in love with him. However, the life changes when Sherlyn Chopra comes into picture.

Mike Stringer, who was responsible for Hrithik Roshan’s cool disguises in Dhoom 2, was specially flown in from London to design her look for the film. The costumes have been designed by Manish Malhotra.

The film has been directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Aditya Chopra. Rakhi Sawant also star in the film. The movie is set to release on 18th September 2009.
