Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly playing the role of Legendary singer-actor Kishore Kumar in director Anurag Basu’s upcoming “colourful and entertaining” biopic on singer.

Being the youngest of four siblings, with elder brothers like Ashok Kumar and Anoop Kumar, Kishore Kumar was more interested in becoming a singer. He was not keen on acting, but Ashok Kumar wanted him to be an actor like himself.

And also as per the source Katrina Kaif might be signed to play Madhubala in the film.
