Even though Rab Ne Bana di jodi had mixed reviews with some critics not too happy with output, but it appears that the audience has given the thumbs-up to the movie, atleast thats what the collections show.

Rab Ne Bana DI jodi has grossed over Rs 25 crores in India alone over the weekend. Globally as well, it has done quite an impressive collection, the film is shown over an amazing 100 screens. $1.25 million from US and a decent £400,000 from UK, during the initial weekend. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has also grossed $ 18,000 (highest print average of the week) from New Zealand with Australia coming close with $131,475. The weekend also saw $1 million from the Middle East and $30,760 from South Africa amongst other places.

The global collection of Rab Ne Bana Di jodi does reinstate King Khan’s stature as a global phenomena. Yashraj films needed a big hit to revive their sagging production house and Rab De Bana Di Jodi has come as a lifeline. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is well on its way to become the top most grosser of 2008
