Kareena Kapoor confirmed to star opposite Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bansali’s upcoming project ‘Romeo and Juliet’ which is adopted from William Shakespeare.

Sanjay is very excited about this film because it brings him into a new direction, which allows him to have more fun and pull in on a commercial audience.

The film will be based in Gujarat and Bhansali intends to start the pre production in April 2012.
