For the very first time veteran actress Tanuja and versatile actress Kajol on-screen. Tanuja will be playing mother to her daughter Kajol in the film, titled, ‘Toonpur Ka Superhero’ to be directed by Kireet Khurana. It will be a family film as actor Ajay Devgan will also be seen playing the lead role.

Talking about the casting coup, director Kireet said, “It`s just the way we had planned and visualised it at the script level. After hearing the script, Kajol agreed to play the role and the director instantly thought to cast Tanuja in the cameo.

Taking about mother daughter camaraderie on the set, the director quips, “Tanuja and Kajol share a great mom-daughter rapport. I remember they would always be chatty on the sets and happy to be together like long-lost friends.”
