Bipasha Basu is all set to play a terrorist in Bunty Walia’s ‘Lamhaa’. Bipasha plays Aziza, She is the leader of a women’s group in Srinagar. Aziza is taught how to use guns and is also trained in hand-to-hand combat ever since her childhood.

Bipasha said, “I play a young girl who has been manipulated by the person, who brings her up. Aziza believes she’s been trained in the right way, but later she undergoes a major transformation in the way she thinks.”

Producer Bunty Walia said, “Bipasha doesn’t play a terrorist. She has been brought up by a separatist leader Haji Baba (Anupam Kher) and follows his ideology.

Sanjay Dutt also plays a pivotal role in the film. At first Bunty thought to arrange a special screening for the CM of Jammu and Kashmir but looking at the turbulence in the state, he has dropped the idea.
