A court in Hyderabad on Friday registered an FIR against actress Genelia D’souza and five others of a real-estate firm, for allegedly cheating a customer by failing to construct a duplex house at Maheswaram Mandal on the outskirts of the city.

The complaint has been lodged by Mr. Tirupataiah, who paid the money of Rs. 54 lakhs for construction of his duplex house in 2008, but till date it has not been done – As per the reports.

Following the complaint, the court directed Saifabad police to inquire the matter and also to register a case against Genelia and five others for cheating under relevant sections of IPC.
