Hari Puttar name suggests a lot… well don’t come to conclusion that its inspired by Harry Potter but it is actually 100% rip off from HOME Alone Series.

Hari Prasad or Hari Puttar nick name, played by Zain Khan, is a 10-year old boy, who has moved to UK with his family. His Father working in a secret Project with Defence Force at a secluded location at UK has access to confidential information that is stores in a Chip & kept at his house.

The family takes off for a holiday, leaving Hari Puttar and Tuk Tuk [Swini Khara], his cousin behind, who confront the two goons [Saurabh Shukla, Vijay Raaz] out to rob the chip.

In the second half, that the film really picks up and evokes peals of laughter, as the goons are thrashed battered & then follows the Tom and Jerry-like chase where the bad guys slip, fall, get hit and are filled with marks on their faces at the end of it. Of course, Hari Puttar triumphs as obvious.

The great challenge of copying hugely popular English film is not easy as how smarter & competent today’s kid are having access to all modern gizmos & can easily make out the real difference . The scripting is a big letdown. On top of that in this movie the makers can’t claim to have anything original not even the title.

The comedy is slapstick & the worst part about the movie ‘Hari Puttar’ is that it is completely an uplifted movie. After watching all the original Home Alone series, It will be foolish on anybody’s part to go & watch comedy of Terror.  An utter nonsense movie and a big time disgrace to the legendary ‘Home Alone’ series.

Just watch Home Alone and Home Alone 2 which are way better than this crap.

Its high time … When would Indian film makers come out of the shadows of there Hollywood counterparts & deliver some original stuffs. And even if its a rip off, it has to be better and not a MESS!
