After earning significant commercial and critical acclaim in India, Alt Entertainment’s and Dibakar Banerjee directed LSD: Love, Sex aur Dhokha is ready to travel around the world, providing a treat for film lovers.
The film is fast becoming a favorite amongst festival programmers around the world. It has been selected to play at three Iinternational festivals in the coming months- Munich International Film Festival, where LSD begins its international run at the end of June, followed by London Indian Film Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival in July.
Dibakar Banerjee, is overwhelmed with all the attention he is receiving from the international film fraternity. He says, “Finally films that show the reality are here and now India is finding a truly international audience. They are looking forward to what’s beyond the Bollywood Star Studded Vehicles – the alternative layers of reality of the modern Indian society. Frankly we have a long way to go – but I’m proud to see LSD as a small beginning to big things!”

While Filmfest Munchen is the second largest film festival in Germany that attracts over 70,000 film lovers, the London Indian Film Festival is dedicated to showcasing the best of young independent talent from across the world. Melbourne International Film festival is the longest running film festival in Australia, with the largest number of new age cinemas and enjoys an annual admission of over 190,000.
